TMU521P Pfeiffer Vacuum Turbomolecular Drag Pump
TMU521P is a high-performance turbomolecular drag pump manufactured by Pfeiffer Vacuum, designed to create ultra-high vacuum conditions for industrial process equipment, analytical instruments and vacuum research systems. This pump delivers a pumping speed of 510 L/s for nitrogen and achieves an ultimate pressure down to 5×10⁻¹⁰ mbar when paired with a suitable backing pump. It can be equipped with DN160 ISO-K or CF-F inlet flange and KF25 fore-vacuum outlet flange, supporting air cooling or water cooling options to adapt different installation environments.
The pump adopts a hybrid bearing structure. The high vacuum side uses wear-free permanent magnetic bearing, while the fore-vacuum side uses oil-circulating lubricated ceramic ball bearing. This structural design reduces mechanical friction and extends service life. It must work together with TC600 electronic drive unit, which controls rotor speed, monitors operating status and provides protection functions including over-speed, over-temperature and power failure protection. The pump features stable rotor operation, low noise and strong gas compression capacity for nitrogen, helium, hydrogen and argon, meeting the requirements of gas analysis, coating, semiconductor and vacuum test applications.
