Installation Steps
(1) Install standard 35mm DIN rail inside DCS control cabinet
(2) Snap P0916PJ onto DIN rail and lock the bottom fixed buckle
(3) Connect DB25 shielded cable between module backplane port and matched FBM discrete input module
Field Wiring Specifications
Field contact cable: Twisted shielded wire, single channel independent wiring
Dry contact wiring: Do not mix with AC power cables, separate wiring trough layout
24VDC power wiring: Strictly distinguish positive and negative poles, single-point grounding of shielding layer inside cabinet
Startup & Configuration Process
(1) Complete all wiring inspection, close cabinet door and switch on 24VDC power supply
(2) Module completes automatic self-diagnosis within 30 seconds, check channel LED indicators
(3) Log in I/A Series operation workstation, configure discrete input signal type and logic threshold

Routine Maintenance Rules
Check channel indicator lights and terminal wiring tightness per shift
Clean dust on wiring terminals every month to prevent poor contact and signal drift
Inspect DB25 cable aging and connector oxidation every half year
5. Safety Precautions
Live plugging and unplugging of DB25 communication cable and field signal wires is strictly prohibited. Cut off 24VDC power supply before wiring maintenance to avoid burning internal isolation circuits.
Keep the module away from high-temperature heat sources, liquid splashing and high-power frequency conversion equipment.
Unauthorized disassembly of internal circuit boards is forbidden; internal fault maintenance must be operated by Foxboro certified automation technicians.
If multiple channels continuously trigger red fault alarms, cut off power immediately to check field contact short circuit, open circuit or wiring damage.

All indicators off: Check cabinet 24VDC power supply circuit and loose power terminals
Single channel red fault light: Inspect field limit switch open circuit, contact oxidation or wire breakage
