3. Installation & Wiring Operation Steps
Hot-swap design supports module replacement without cutting off the whole DCS rack power supply, avoiding system production interruption.
Align the golden finger of P0916JZ horizontally with the rack baseplate dedicated slot, fully insert the module and tighten the side locking buckle firmly.
Complete two types of wiring strictly following the labels on the module shell:
a. Backplane power branch wiring for internal rack power distribution;
b. Field instrument wiring for sensors, solenoid valves and switch contacts, distinguish positive/negative polarity of analog current loops.
After all wiring is finished, the module automatically runs full power and signal self-test within 10 seconds; steady green LED indicates normal bus voltage and signal communication status.
If red fault light keeps flashing, cut off corresponding power branch first, then check bus voltage fluctuation, wiring short circuit, overload load or poor baseplate contact.
4. Operation & Maintenance Precautions
Avoid violent impact, falling or heavy extrusion during transportation and installation to prevent internal voltage sampling circuit damage.
Keep the DCS control rack well ventilated to prevent overheating under long-term continuous full-load power monitoring operation.
Unauthorized disassembly of internal circuit boards will destroy power protection and isolation circuits, and void the official product warranty.
Regularly remove dust on module shell, power terminals, signal terminal strips and golden fingers to guarantee accurate voltage sampling and stable signal transmission.
Spare P0916JZ modules must be stored in dry constant-temperature environments with complete anti-static packaging to prevent static breakdown of sensitive sampling chips.

All indicator lights off: Abnormal rack backplane 24VDC main power supply or incomplete module insertion locking
Red power alarm light constant flashing: Bus voltage out of 19–28VDC normal range, or single power branch overload/short circuit
Single channel signal no response: Field instrument wire open circuit, terminal loose contact or channel current limiting protection triggered
Periodic power flicker alarm: Dust accumulation on power terminals leading to contact resistance drift, causing voltage sampling error
