3. Installation & Wiring Operation Steps
Hot-swap design allows module replacement without cutting off the total power of the control cabinet to avoid production shutdown.
Two installation options: Align the golden finger with the DCS backplane slot and insert horizontally to lock the buckle; or fix the module on DIN rail for decentralized wiring.
Connect field sensors, transmitters and actuator valves to the terminal block strictly according to the wiring label on the module surface; strictly distinguish the positive and negative polarity of analog current loops.
After completing all wiring, the module automatically runs full hardware self-test within 10 seconds; steady green LED indicates normal signal transmission.
If the red fault light flashes continuously, check field wire short circuit, broken sensor line, over-limit input signal or poor terminal contact.
4. Operation & Maintenance Precautions
Avoid violent collision, dropping or heavy extrusion during transportation and installation to prevent internal circuit damage.
Keep the control cabinet well ventilated to prevent overheating under long-term continuous full-load operation.
Unauthorized disassembly of internal circuit boards will destroy the isolation protection circuit and invalidate the official product warranty.
Regularly clean dust on the module shell, terminal blocks and golden fingers to maintain stable signal transmission accuracy.
Spare modules must be stored in a dry constant-temperature environment with complete anti-static packaging to avoid moisture and static damage.
5. Common Fault Troubleshooting
All LED indicators off: Abnormal 24VDC backplane power supply or incomplete module insertion and locking
Single channel red alarm: Field signal wire open circuit, short circuit or channel current overload
Overall module communication loss: Mismatched baud rate of Modbus bus, damaged communication wiring or inconsistent module address
Signal severe drift and low precision: Accumulated dust on terminals or lack of channel isolation leading to ground loop interference
