3. Installation & Wiring Operation Steps
Hot-swap support: No need to cut off the whole cabinet power during module replacement, avoiding system downtime.
Align the golden finger of P0916JS with the DCS backplane slot, insert horizontally and lock the side fixing buckle tightly.
Connect field sensors, transmitters and valve actuators to the terminal block strictly following the wiring marking on the module shell; distinguish positive/negative polarity of analog current signals.
After wiring completion, the module will run automatic self-test within 10 seconds. Steady green LED indicates normal signal communication.
If red fault light flashes, power off the module and check wiring short circuit, open sensor circuit or poor contact of terminal terminals.
4. Operation & Maintenance Precautions
Avoid violent collision, drop or heavy extrusion during transportation and installation.
Keep the control cabinet well ventilated to prevent overheating under long-term continuous operation.
Unauthorized disassembly of internal circuit boards will damage isolation circuits and void the official warranty.
Regularly clean dust on terminal blocks, golden fingers and module shell to guarantee stable signal transmission.
Spare modules must be stored in dry constant-temperature environments with complete anti-static packaging.
5. Common Fault Troubleshooting
All indicator lights off: Abnormal 24VDC backplane power supply or loose module insertion
Single channel red alarm: Field wire short circuit, broken sensor cable or channel overload
Global communication interruption: Mismatch between P0916JS and FBM backplane module model
Signal drift & low precision: Dust accumulation on terminals or ground loop interference without isolation
