Power off the DCS cabinet and cut off all module power supply;
Insert the 37SUB connector into the rear socket of Foxboro FBM series I/O module and lock the fixing screw clockwise;
Lead the 25DSUB end out of the cabinet, connect it to the terminal block of on-site measuring instruments;
Arrange the cable along the internal wire groove of the cabinet, fix it with cable ties, avoid sharp edges extrusion and high-temperature pipeline contact;
Power on after confirming all connectors are locked, check signal communication status through DCS upper computer.
5.3 Daily Maintenance Rules
Inspect cable appearance and connector tightness every 3 months;
Avoid dragging, bending the cable with a radius less than 5 times the cable outer diameter;
Replace the cable immediately if sheath cracking, pin corrosion or signal loss occurs.
6. Safety Warning
It is strictly forbidden to plug and unplug the cable under live power to avoid module burnout and signal short circuit;
Do not lay the cable together with high-voltage power cables to prevent strong electromagnetic interference;
Do not use in corrosive gas, strong acid and alkali splash environment without protective casing.
