Per-channel LED visual fault indication, fast positioning of faulty flowmeter, encoder and pulse wiring loops
Fully passive feedthrough signal transmission, zero attenuation of high-frequency pulse signals, guarantee accurate flow accumulation and rotational speed sampling
Compatible with full redundant DCS rack system, support hot swap of FBM206 modules without interrupting flow totalization and speed monitoring
Universal matching with all P0916 series dedicated signal cables, no secondary pulse signal calibration after installation
3.5 Standard Installation Procedures
Cut off the total DC24V power supply of DCS rack backplane before installing, removing or rewiring P0916CP;
Snap the termination assembly onto cabinet DIN rail and lock the bottom fixed buckle firmly;
Connect field pulse flowmeters, speed encoder cables to corresponding channel compression terminals strictly per official wiring schematic;
Link the dedicated 37-pin termination cable between P0916CP and rear connector of FBM206 pulse input module;
Restore rack power supply, log in I/A workstation software to configure pulse scaling factor, frequency filter and fault alarm thresholds;
Trigger field pulse signals manually, check LED status of all 8 channels to verify stable pulse counting and frequency data upload.
3.6 Safety Warning Clauses
Only certified industrial automation maintenance engineers are permitted to disassemble or modify the product; unauthorized disassembly voids factory warranty.
Always cut off backplane DC power before wiring, plugging or unplugging the unit to avoid circuit burnout and permanent damage to pulse sensors.
Do not install this termination assembly in flammable, explosive or strong corrosive gas environments without sealed explosion-proof cabinets.
Reserve sufficient heat dissipation gaps around the unit to prevent overheating leading to pulse signal distortion and counting errors.
Inspect compression terminal tightness every three months to avoid poor contact causing missing pulse data and inaccurate flow statistics.
