Plug-and-play with all P0916 series dedicated termination cables, no secondary signal calibration after installation
3.5 Standard Installation Procedures
Cut off the DC24V power supply of the entire DCS rack backplane before installing or removing P0916CA termination assembly;
Snap the unit onto DIN rail inside the control cabinet and lock the bottom fixed buckle tightly;
Connect field limit switches, relay contacts and feedback signal cables to corresponding channel compression terminals strictly following wiring schematic;
Link the dedicated 37-pin termination cable between P0916CA and FBM217 rear baseplate connector;
Restore rack power supply, log in I/A workstation software to configure interlock logic and channel fault alarm thresholds;
Check LED status of all 32 channels one by one, verify accurate upload of field contact on-off status to the control workstation.
3.6 Safety Warning Clauses
Only certified industrial automation maintenance engineers are allowed to disassemble or modify the product; unauthorized disassembly voids the official warranty.
Always cut off rack backplane DC power before wiring, plugging or unplugging the termination assembly to avoid circuit short-circuit burnout.
Do not install this unit in flammable, explosive or strong corrosive gas environments without sealed explosion-proof control cabinets.
Reserve sufficient heat dissipation gaps around the module to prevent overheating leading to digital signal misjudgment.
Inspect compression terminal tightness every three months to avoid poor contact causing missing interlock signals and production safety risks.
