3.5 Standard Installation Steps
Cut off the DCS rack 24VDC power supply before installing or removing P0916BX termination assembly;
Snap the unit onto DIN rail inside the cabinet and lock the bottom fixing buckle tightly;
Connect two-wire HART transmitter cables to corresponding channel compression terminals strictly following wiring diagram;
Connect the dedicated 37-pin termination cable between P0916BX and FBM214/FBM216 rear baseplate connector;
Restore rack power, log in I/A workstation software to enable HART communication and configure alarm thresholds;
Check LED status of each channel one by one, verify normal analog collection and HART digital data upload.
3.6 Safety Warning Clauses
Only certified industrial automation engineers are allowed to disassemble or modify the product; unauthorized disassembly voids the warranty.
Always cut off 24VDC power before wiring, plugging or unplugging the termination assembly to avoid circuit short-circuit burnout.
Do not install the unit in flammable, explosive or strong corrosive gas environments without sealed explosion-proof cabinets.
Reserve heat dissipation gaps around the module to prevent overheating leading to HART communication failure and signal drift.
