Installation Steps
(1) Cut off the DCS cabinet 24V backplane power supply;
(2) Snap the module onto standard DIN rail and lock the bottom buckle;
(3) Connect field sensor/actuator cables to terminal blocks strictly per wiring diagram;
(4) Restore power, complete channel signal type configuration via DCS workstation software;
(5) Check channel LED status to confirm normal signal collection & output.
3.4 Core Functional Features
Arbitrary AI/AO channel switching, maximum 16 configurable analog channels;
Real-time fault diagnosis: channel open circuit, short circuit, overvoltage, signal out-of-range alarm;
Digital signal filtering algorithm to eliminate field high-frequency noise;
Hot-swap design: replace faulty modules without stopping the whole DCS system;
Data consistency verification, supporting redundant module seamless switchover for key control loops;
Compatible with all I/A Series host stations, upper monitoring software and remote I/O expansion racks.
3.5 Safety Warnings
Only professional automation engineers are allowed to disassemble, modify or calibrate the module; unauthorized disassembly voids the warranty.
Cut off 24V DC backplane power before wiring, plugging/unplugging the module to avoid burn-out.
Do not install the module in flammable, explosive or strong corrosive gas environments without sealed explosion-proof cabinets.
Keep cabinet ventilation smooth to prevent module overheating and signal drift.
Regularly check terminal wiring tightness to avoid poor contact causing measurement deviation.
