1. Product Overview

2. Basic Information

Only applicable for fully enclosed indoor cabinet installation, front panel IP20 protection, forbidden open-air, dew accumulation, strong vibration and high-concentration corrosive gas environment. Rated working power 24VDC supplied from P0903NQ rack power module via Z-Bus backplane, internal power loop and signal loop adopt full isolation design to eliminate power ripple coupling interference. Pass UL, CE, CSA safety certification and complete EMC anti-interference test, stable operation near high-power inverter and large motor with strong electromagnetic radiation. Continuous working ambient temperature: 0℃~60℃; storage & transportation temperature: -40℃~85℃; relative humidity 5%~95% non-condensing condition.

3. Function and Positioning

Positioned as rack-level bus isolation and signal matching component of Foxboro DCS cabinet, three core functions: bus electrical isolation between Z-Bus backplane and FBM I/O modules, field signal surge suppression, bus signal impedance matching optimization. After inserting backplane slot, it isolates potential difference between cabinet system ground and field instrument ground to eliminate ground loop noise which causes analog signal drift and switching signal mis-trigger; built-in multi-stage transient voltage suppression circuit blocks lightning surge and power grid spike invading from field cable to protect backplane bus and FBM I/O modules from overvoltage damage. Optimizes bus terminal impedance to improve long-distance fieldbus communication stability; multiple P0903ZE can be configured in different rack slots for partition isolation of different production unit control loops, lowering system abnormal shutdown risk caused by on-site field short-circuit or lightning impact.
