Basic Installation & Usage
Mounting
Install on standard I/A Series DIN rail or baseplate.
Secure module with latch; ensure full seating.
Wiring
Connect 24 VDC redundant power to terminal block.
Connect Ethernet fiber port to control network switch.
Connect fieldbus cable to backplane I/O baseplate.
Separate low‑signal and high‑power cables for noise reduction.
Configuration (I/A Series / Evo Software)
Assign IP address and network parameters.
Enable redundancy (primary/secondary role).
Configure I/O scan rate and control logic.
Set up communication protocols (Modbus, etc.).
Download control program to module memory.
Operation
Check LED indicators: RUN (green) = normal; FAULT (red) = error.
Monitor processor status, memory usage, and network load in HMI.
Verify control loops, alarms, and interlocks.
Maintenance
Hot‑swap faulty module (no shutdown required).
Update firmware via I/A Series software.
Periodically inspect wiring, connectors, and power supply.
Typical Applications
Centralized process control in chemical, power, oil & gas, and pharmaceutical plants.
High‑speed logic and sequential control for manufacturing lines.
