1.3 Safety Instructions

All installation, wiring and maintenance work must be carried out by qualified electricians. 3. Installation

3.1 Mechanical Mounting

Mount the drive vertically on a flat and rigid mounting plate. Keep a clearance of no less than 100 mm at the top and bottom for heat dissipation. Fasten the unit with standard screws and avoid installation in areas with severe vibration.

3.2 Electrical Connection

Use shielded cables for power lines, motor cables and signal cables to meet EMC requirements. Connect 3-phase main power to L1, L2 and L3 terminals, and connect the motor to U, V and W terminals. Link the resolver signal and motor PTC thermistor to corresponding ports. Ensure reliable grounding for both the drive and the motor. Double-check all wiring before powering on.

4. Operation

4.1 Commissioning

Complete parameter setting and motor auto-tuning via MOVITOOLS® software. Run the drive under no load for a period of time, and check for abnormal noise, vibration or temperature rise. Verify the feedback signal and thermal protection function before formal operation.

4.2 Main Functions

IPOSplus® provides integrated positioning, sequence control, electronic cam and synchronous control functions. Four-quadrant operation realizes regenerative braking and energy recovery. The coated PCB enhances resistance against moisture and dust for stable operation in harsh environments.

5. Maintenance

The drive is basically maintenance-free under normal working conditions. Inspect terminal connections and cable tightness every six months. Clean dust on ventilation openings with dry compressed air. Check the cooling condition regularly to prevent heat accumulation.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Fault F01 Overcurrent: Caused by circuit short, motor failure or wrong wiring.

  • Fault F02 Overvoltage: Resulted from regenerative overload or brake chopper malfunction.

  • Fault F08 Overtemperature: Caused by overload or blocked ventilation.

  • Fault F25 Encoder error: Check resolver wiring and connection status.
