1. General Description

The unit is equipped with onboard PROFIBUS-DP interface and integrated Class A EMC filter. A built-in brake chopper enables 4-quadrant operation for general industrial speed regulation.
2. Model Code Explanation
MCF stands for MOVIDRIVE compact series with sensorless vector control and no encoder support. 41 indicates the drive is integrated with PROFIBUS-DP communication. A refers to the hardware version. 0040 represents the rated power of 4.0 kW. 5 means 3-phase 380–500 V AC input voltage. Built-in protection functions include overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature, motor overload, short circuit and earth fault protection to ensure reliable and safe operation.
