1. General Description
This compact three-phase inverter is a product of SEW-EURODRIVE MOVIDRIVE compact series with a rated power of 3.0 kW. It applies sensorless vector control for standard asynchronous motors. Equipped with onboard PROFIBUS-DP interface and integrated Class A EMC filter, it also has a built-in brake chopper to realize 4-quadrant operation, which is widely used for industrial speed regulation.
2. Model Code Explanation
MCF represents the MOVIDRIVE compact series with sensorless vector control and no encoder support. 41 means the drive is integrated with PROFIBUS-DP communication function. A is the product version code. 0030 stands for the rated power of 3.0 kW. 5 indicates 3-phase 380–500 V AC input voltage. A refers to the built-in Class A EMC filter. 3 means three-phase power input. 4 denotes 4-quadrant operation with internal brake chopper. 00 is the standard configuration without STO safety function and expansion slots.

It is equipped with 6 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, 1 relay output and 1 analog input that supports 0–10 V and 4–20 mA signals. It is compatible with TF, PTC and TH temperature sensors to monitor motor operating temperature in real time.
Built-in protection functions include overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature, motor overload, short circuit and earth fault protection, which guarantee safe and stable operation.
