Scope
It specifies safety, performance and signaling requirements for automated sliding door drive systems installed on the following vehicle categories:
M1: Passenger cars (≤ 8 seats)
M2: Buses (>8 seats, gross weight ≤ 5 t)
N1: Light commercial vehicles (gross weight ≤ 3.5 t)
N2: Medium commercial vehicles (3.5 t < gross weight ≤ 12 t)
