Six. Fault diagnosis and daily maintenance

Common faults

The PWR light is not on: Check if the +5V power supply of the VME chassis is normal, if the slot is loose, and if the connectors are oxidized or have poor contact; Investigate the fault of the module's internal power circuit.

The RUN light does not flash: The module has not started normally. Check the bus configuration and address jumpers to see if they are correct; Investigate the core chips and firmware of the board card; Reinsert the module or change the slot for testing.

The COM light does not flash: There is no bus data transmission. Check if the bus connection is normal and if the communication protocol configuration is matched; Investigate bus conflicts, peripheral faults, or abnormal module communication circuits.

The FAULT light is constantly on: Module hardware failure, bus error, or data verification failure; Check if the signal wiring is correct, and if there is a short circuit / open circuit; Investigate damage to board card components or firmware anomalies.

Data transmission is abnormal / disordered: Electromagnetic interference causes it.
