Overview The MITSUBISHI FR-A740-3.7K-CHT (U97L08006) is a high-performance vector variable frequency drive of Mitsubishi FREQROL A700 series, 3.7kW, 3-phase 400V class. It supports sensorless vector control and advanced magnetic flux vector control, delivering high starting torque, widely stocked as spare for pumps, fans, conveyors, packaging machines and process control skids.

Features This drive is equipped with built-in EMC filter, high-resolution PWM modulation. The FR-A740-3.7K-CHT can achieve 200% torque at 0.3Hz under sensorless vector mode. It supports PID function, multi-speed operation, RS485 Modbus communication, rich protection functions including overcurrent, overload, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheat and stall prevention. It can be configured via FR Configurator software and optional operation panels. The A700 series has been discontinued by Mitsubishi.

Principle The rectifier converts AC into DC, then the IGBT inverter outputs adjustable frequency & voltage three-phase AC. It adjusts motor speed and torque according to setpoint, and suppresses abnormal operating conditions via internal fault detection circuits.

Applications The FR-A740-3.7K-CHT U97L08006 is widely used in industrial pump & fan control, conveyor lines, packaging machinery, extruders and HVAC systems. It is used for speed regulation and energy saving of three-phase AC motors.
