Overview The PR ELECTRONICS 5102B (980299083) is a compact DIN rail mount RTD temperature transmitter from the PR 5000 series. It converts Pt100 / Ni100 resistance signals into standardized linear analog output, widely stocked as spare for thermal power, chemical and water treatment process control cabinets.

Features This is a 2-channel programmable RTD transmitter supporting Pt100, Ni100 and ohm input. Principle The transmitter measures resistance change from the RTD temperature sensor, performs linearization and cold-junction compensation, then outputs a proportional 4-20mA analog signal to the DCS/PLC. It will trigger fault indication when the sensor wire is open or shorted.

Applications The 5102B 980299083 is widely deployed in boiler, HVAC and chemical process skids. It is used for temperature measurement and signal conversion of Pt100 thermal resistance sensors.
