Overview

The SCHNEIDER ATS01N106FT is a compact DIN‑rail soft starter from Schneider Altistart 01 series for asynchronous motors. The SCHNEIDER ATS01N106FT supports supply voltage 110–480 V AC, rated current 6 A, for motor power up to 2.2 kW @ 400 V three‑phase. It delivers smooth voltage ramp for soft start and soft stop, reducing inrush current and mechanical shock for pumps, fans and conveyors. This model does not include an internal bypass contactor. It is widely stocked as spare for simple machinery and small skid retrofit.

Principle

The SCHNEIDER ATS01N106FT uses anti‑parallel thyristors to gradually raise output voltage to the motor during start sequence. It limits the starting surge current and avoids torque shock on gearboxes, belts and impellers. At stop, voltage ramps down to achieve gentle deceleration. Internal thermal and current monitoring triggers protection when abnormal conditions occur.

Applications

The SCHNEIDER ATS01N106FT is used for small fans, water pumps, compressors and general automation conveyors. The SCHNEIDER ATS01N106FT is stocked as spare part for direct replacement of existing Altistart 01 installations. For larger power or advanced functions, ATS480 series is the upgrade option.
