Overview

The TERASAKI AOR-1BL-AL is a microprocessor-based multi-function overcurrent protection relay for Terasaki TemPower AT series air circuit breakers. The TERASAKI AOR-1BL-AL provides long time delay, short time delay, instantaneous trip and earth fault protection functions for low-voltage feeders and generator circuits. It supports adjustable current setting and time delay curves to achieve selective coordination within the power distribution system. The TERASAKI AOR-1BL-AL is widely stocked as spare trip unit for marine, offshore and industrial main switchboard maintenance.

Features

The TERASAKI AOR-1BL-AL works with current transformers to sample three-phase current and residual current signals. It supports user-configurable protection parameters and trip characteristic curves, and can store fault records for post-fault analysis. The TERASAKI AOR-1BL-AL includes LED status indicators for running state, pre-alarm and trip events. It is designed for direct plug-in installation inside the AT series ACB, powered by CT secondary current or auxiliary power supply. Principle

The TERASAKI AOR-1BL-AL receives secondary current signals from matched CTs. The internal microprocessor calculates the effective current value and compares it with preset protection thresholds. When overload, short-circuit or earth fault occurs, the TERASAKI AOR-1BL-AL sends trip command to the breaker operating mechanism to cut off the fault circuit. The relay records trip type and fault current data for on-site inspection.

The TERASAKI AOR-1BL-AL is used as protection trip unit for Terasaki AT series air circuit breakers on vessels and offshore platforms. It serves selective protection for main incoming feeders, bus sections and generator output circuits.
