Overview

The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC TSXASY800 is an 8-channel analog output module for Schneider Modicon Premium PLC system. The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC TSXASY800 converts digital data from the Premium CPU into standard analog current and voltage signals to control valves, frequency inverters and other field actuators. It adopts 25-pin Sub-D connector wiring and supports 13-bit conversion accuracy. The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC TSXASY800 is an obsolete module, widely stocked for maintenance of existing Modicon Premium DCS and PLC racks.

Features

Principle

The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC TSXASY800 receives digital setpoint values from the PLC CPU through the backplane bus. The internal DAC circuit converts digital values into stable analog output signals and sends them to field control devices. The module continuously monitors output load status. When overload, short circuit or internal circuit abnormality is detected, the SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC TSXASY800 marks fault status and uploads alarm information to the PLC processor.
