Description

JRC CMC-898 H-7PCRD1398C T/R Control PCB Board (PC1101)

Overview

The JRC CMC-898 H-7PCRD1398C is a transmit and receive control PCB board for JRC JMA-9822 marine radar system. The JRC CMC-898 H-7PCRD1398C is also marked as PC1101 on the silkscreen of the circuit board. It controls the radar transmitter pulse triggering, receiver signal gating, timing sequence and power management for the radar transceiver unit. The JRC CMC-898 H-7PCRD1398C exchanges timing and status signals with the radar main processor and RF front-end modules to complete normal radar scanning and echo reception. This board is a discontinued marine spare part widely stocked for ship radar overhaul and emergency replacement.

Features

The JRC CMC-898 H-7PCRD1398C generates precise trigger timing pulses for the magnetron transmitter of the JMA-9822 radar. It controls the receiver gate switch to suppress transmission leakage and protect the receiving circuit. The JRC CMC-898 H-7PCRD1398C integrates multiple interface connectors for power supply, RF unit interconnection and communication signal wiring. It includes on-board regulation circuits and transient suppression components to adapt to the vibration and voltage fluctuation environment on board vessels. The JRC CMC-898 H-7PCRD1398C follows the original layout and connector definition for direct plug-in replacement in the radar transceiver cabinet.

Specs

Device Type: Radar T/R control PCB board Model: JRC CMC-898 H-7PCRD1398C Board Marking: PC1101 Applicable Equipment: JRC JMA-9822 marine navigation radar Function: Transmit trigger, receiver gating, timing control, power sequencing Mounting: Installed inside radar transceiver unit Origin: Made in Japan Application: Marine navigation radar, ship bridge radar system, vessel navigation equipment maintenance

Principle

The JRC CMC-898 H-7PCRD1398C receives synchronous command signals from the radar main control board. It outputs trigger pulses to drive the magnetron to emit microwave radar pulses, meanwhile switching the receiver protection circuit to the blocking state during transmission. After the pulse transmission finishes, the board switches the receiver gate to open state to receive target echo signals. The JRC CMC-898 H-7PCRD1398C continuously monitors power supply and timing status. If timing abnormality or hardware failure occurs, it stops radar transmission and reports fault to the radar processor unit.

Applications

The JRC CMC-898 H-7PCRD1398C is used for transceiver control loop repair of JMA-9822 X-band marine radar on cargo ships, fishing vessels and offshore platforms. It serves timing and T/R switching control for ship navigation radar transceiver assemblies. The JRC CMC-898 H-7PCRD1398C applies to spare inventory and emergency breakdown repair of old JRC radar cabinets. It also supports radar system overhaul and calibration projects for marine navigation equipment.
