Endress+Hauser 83A02-ASVWAGADBACK

The 83A02-ASVWAGADBACK is a Proline Promass 83A single-tube Coriolis mass flowmeter from Endress+Hauser, designed for ultra-small flow measurement. This 83A02-ASVWAGADBACK adopts single self-drainable measuring tube structure, directly measuring mass flow, density and process temperature at the same time, independent of fluid pressure, temperature, viscosity and flow profile, and no straight upstream or downstream pipe section is required. The 83A02-ASVWAGADBACK reaches liquid mass flow accuracy up to ±0.10%, suitable for precise dosing, custody transfer and concentration calculation for low flow liquid and gas media.

This 83A02-ASVWAGADBACK is equipped with a four-line touch LCD local display, supporting on-site configuration, recipe management and diagnostic check. It supports multiple output and communication options including 4-20mA, pulse, HART, Profibus PA and FOUNDATION Fieldbus for connection with DCS, PLC and asset management systems. The code string ASVWAGADBACK defines process connection, pressure rating, hazardous area certification, wetted material and special test certificates for this specific variant. It supports hygienic approvals such as 3-A and EHEDG for food, pharmaceutical and fine chemical loops.

The 83A02-ASVWAGADBACK is widely used in fine chemical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage and lab metering stations for tiny batch dosing and additive control. The Promass 83A series has been discontinued by Endress+Hauser. Most available 83A02-ASVWAGADBACK units are tested surplus spare parts for replacement and calibration of legacy small-flow mass metering loops. Its successor model is Proline Promass A 300 / 8A3C.
