Stober SDS4021

The SDS4021 is a compact servo drive from STOBER SDS4000 series, three-phase input 230V to 480V AC, designed for high dynamic positioning control of STOBER synchronous servo motors. This SDS4021 supports encoderless open-loop control and closed-loop control with resolver, single-turn and multi-turn absolute encoders, compatible with STOBER MXPLUS and other servo motor series. The SDS4021 provides flexible control modes including torque, speed and position control for automated production axes.

This SDS4021 integrates standard Ethernet fieldbus interface, supporting EtherCAT, Profinet and other bus options to connect with PLC and motion controllers. The SDS4021 includes built-in safe torque off STO safety function as standard, and it offers rich digital and analog I/O terminals for limit switch, home sensor and control valve signal connection. The front panel keypad and LED status indicators allow local parameter setting, curve monitoring and fault diagnosis during commissioning and maintenance. The power rating of SDS4021 covers small and medium torque servo axes for general automation.

The SDS4021 is widely used for packaging machines, machine tool axes, gantry systems, robotics and material handling equipment. The SDS4000 series is a mature STOBER servo drive platform. Many automation integrators and service teams stock the SDS4021 as spare drive for replacement and retrofit of existing STOBER motion systems.
