WEG ABW32 3200A
Description
WEG ABW32 3200A
The ABW32 is a high current air circuit breaker from WEG ABW series, rated 3200A, rated insulation voltage 1000V for low voltage power distribution. This ABW32 is not suitable for 12kV medium voltage operation, the 12kV marked in the inquiry belongs to medium voltage specification mismatch. The ABW32 supports fixed and withdrawable mounting versions, available in 3-pole or 4-pole configurations, with Icu=Ics up to 85kA at 480V. The ABW32 adopts microprocessor electronic trip unit with LSIG protection functions including overload, short-circuit, earth fault and phase imbalance protection.
This ABW32 integrates Modbus-RTU communication interface, supporting remote monitoring, energy metering and fault event upload to SCADA and BMS systems. The ABW32 is equipped with mechanical interlock and safety shutters for withdrawable type, preventing accidental contact with live busbars during racking in and out. Operators can check real-time current, power and fault records on the local display of the trip unit. Standard accessories for the ABW32 include auxiliary contacts, alarm switches, shunt release and under-voltage release for local and remote control.
The ABW32 is widely used as main incoming breaker in industrial substations, data centers and large power distribution switchboards. The ABW32 complies with IEC 60947-2 standard for low voltage air circuit breakers. Many electrical panel builders and maintenance teams stock the ABW32 as spare breaker for cabinet upgrade and emergency replacement of existing low voltage distribution systems.
