MODICON CPU21304 belongs to Modicon Quantum series, a high-performance rack PLC CPU processor module for large-scale industrial automation systems. It executes control logic, processes local and remote I/O signals and manages dual communication links for assembly lines, bolt tightening stations and process control applications. The CPU runs user control programs, the processor supports fast boolean and mathematical calculation, and the automation control realizes stable sequence operation for multi-station fixture and material handling equipment.

The CPU features 768KB user memory, built-in real-time clock and battery-backed memory to retain programs and production data after power failure.
