MODICON OUTPUT B824

MODICON OUTPUT B824 belongs to Modicon 800 series, a 16-point 24VDC true high discrete output module for PLC rack-based automation systems. It converts internal logic signals into field power signals to drive solenoid valves, contactors and safety interlock components for assembly and bolt fastening stations. The output module executes on-off control commands, the DC channel supports 24V inductive and resistive loads, and the automation control realizes reliable action triggering for fixture clamps and conveying equipment.

The output module divides 16 channels into two groups of 8 points with independent electrical isolation to restrain interference spread between different load loops. Each channel is equipped with LED status indicator for quick visual inspection of on/off state during commissioning and maintenance. The DC output circuit is built with surge suppression circuit to absorb back electromotive force generated by inductive loads and protect internal circuits of the output module.
