Description
MODICON 120-166-006
MODICON 120-166-006 is a dedicated servo drive controller for Modicon automation systems, designed for brushless servo motor control in automated fastening and fixture stations. It delivers precise speed regulation, position tracking and torque control for high repeatability motion tasks on assembly lines. The drive receives motion commands from the main PLC, the servo unit drives the motor to complete accurate positioning and feeding actions, and the automation motion control realizes synchronized operation for multi-spindle tightening equipment.

The drive supports closed-loop position, speed and torque control modes, customizable motion profiles and real-time encoder feedback. It can automatically detect abnormal conditions such as overcurrent, overspeed, encoder loss and overload, and trigger alarm signals to stop the motion timely to avoid collision and mechanical damage. The servo control loop adopts high-speed sampling algorithm to reduce positioning error and follow-up deviation during rapid acceleration and deceleration. Engineers can set target position, speed curve and acceleration parameters for each automation motion task, and all operating data, alarm codes and position logs are uploaded to the PLC for quality traceability and equipment maintenance.
This drive adopts industrial rugged housing with excellent anti-interference capability for continuous stable operation in dusty workshop environments with vibration and temperature fluctuation. The servo communication interface follows Modicon standard bus protocol for seamless connection with the CPU and other automation modules. It supports online parameter modification and real-time status monitoring to stabilize the whole automation workflow, shorten commissioning and troubleshooting time and reduce assembly quality defects caused by motion inaccuracy.
