MODICON ALU821

MODICON ALU821 is a relay output module for Modicon PLC automation rack systems. It provides isolated relay contact signals to drive solenoid valves, contactors and safety interlock devices in assembly and bolt fastening production lines. The relay output supports dry contact switching, the isolated channel separates PLC internal logic circuit and field power loop, and the automation control realizes reliable on-off action for fixture clamps and material handling equipment.

The relay module adopts independent channel isolation design to block back EMF and electrical noise from inductive loads. Each channel is equipped with status indicator lights for fast visual check of switch state during commissioning and maintenance. The isolated contact design can switch different voltage levels including AC and DC loads without interfering with the PLC backplane bus. Engineers can program logic to trigger clamping, unlocking and safety interlock actions for each automation step, and all relay status will be scanned and uploaded to the CPU for program verification and fault diagnosis.

This relay module adopts single-slot plug-in structure for direct installation on standard Modicon backplane, supporting convenient replacement during maintenance. The isolated relay contacts meet industrial surge and shock resistance specifications and can run continuously in dusty workshop environments with vibration and temperature fluctuation.
