WÄRTSILÄ 46CIB BMCM is a Ver.02 marine engine control junction driver PCB board for Wärtsilä BMCM main engine control system, powered by 24VDC marine control supply, used on Wärtsilä 46 series medium-speed marine diesel engines. The control junction driver card acts as interface between main BMCM controller and engine-mounted actuators, injection monitoring sensors, pressure switches and solenoid valves. The control junction driver card outputs amplified drive signals to engine solenoid actuators and collects digital/analogue feedback signals from engine safety and measurement sensors. The control junction driver card performs signal conditioning, channel filtering and isolation, transmits engine status, fault codes and measurement data to BMCM main controller and ECR HMI via dedicated system bus. The control junction driver card has built-in per-channel diagnostic to detect short circuit, open loop and internal hardware fault, and reports alarm events to engine alarm monitoring system.

WÄRTSILÄ 46CIB BMCM driver card adopts conformal coated Eurocard PCB assembly for rack mounting inside engine control cabinet. The engine driver PCB board has LED status indicators for power supply, bus communication and each drive channel status for fast on-site troubleshooting. The engine driver PCB board has galvanic isolation between low-voltage logic side and engine field wiring side to suppress electrical noise and ground interference from engine vibration environment.
