KOMECO ESP-2000 ENGINE SAFETY PROTECTION UNIT

KOMECO ESP-2000 is a marine engine safety protection unit, widely applied on marine diesel engines and auxiliary gensets for over-speed, low lube oil pressure, high exhaust temperature and emergency shutdown protection. The engine safety protection unit continuously collects digital and analog signals from engine sensors, evaluates safety setpoints and triggers hardwired fuel cut-off output when dangerous engine operating conditions are detected. The engine safety protection unit has independent safety logic circuit, separate from main engine governor controller, to ensure reliable trip action even when the main control system fails. The engine safety protection unit provides local alarm indication, fault memory and dry contact alarm outputs to engine room alarm console and bridge monitoring panel. The engine safety protection unit supports local reset and remote reset of engine trip conditions, and records trip event history for incident investigation.

KOMECO ESP-2000 adopts compact panel mounting housing for installation inside engine control room cabinets. The marine safety controller has LED indicators for sensor channel status, power supply and fault alarm for fast on-site troubleshooting. The marine safety controller is powered by 24VDC marine control power supply and integrates EMC filtering to reduce electrical noise interference from ship power networks. The marine safety controller is conformal coated to resist high temperature, humidity and vibration in marine engine room environments, complying with marine classification requirements. The marine safety controller has configurable safety threshold parameters via local keypad, and can lock parameters to avoid accidental modification.
