KEBA CU313/C Multi-Axis Motion Control Module

The KEBA CU313/C belongs to the KeConnect axis control module series, compatible with the Kemro K2-200 control platform and widely applied to injection molding and plastic processing equipment. It independently executes closed-loop algorithms for multiple servo axes and supports position, speed and torque control together with advanced synchronous motion functions. Information exchange between the module and main CPU is realized through the internal high-speed K-bus for motion commands and real-time axis feedback signals. Front panel LED indicators enable convenient operating status monitoring and rapid fault troubleshooting. Optimized EMC design delivers reliable anti-interference capability suitable for complex workshop environments. It serves as an essential spare component for equipment maintenance, servo axis expansion and automation system technical transformation projects.

Description

The KEBA CU313/C multi-axis motion control module is a high-performance motion expansion unit designed for KEBA Kemro K2-200 automation control systems, extensively installed on injection molding machines and plastic processing machinery. This module undertakes independent operation of multi-axis motion algorithms, effectively sharing the computational load of the main CPU and ensuring stable, low-latency execution of complex motion sequences such as manipulator movement, metering positioning, mold adjustment and multi-axis synchronous auxiliary actions.

Communication between CU313/C and CP series main controllers depends on the internal high-speed K-bus backplane. The module receives motion targets, speed curves and synchronization parameters, and continuously uploads actual axis position, operating speed and fault status back to the main control unit. It supports rich motion functions including reference homing, electronic gearing, cam synchronization, fixed-point positioning and continuous speed operation, fully meeting various precision motion demands of auxiliary mechanical structures on molding equipment.
Adopting standard plug-in modular architecture, CU313/C can be installed on system racks together with CPU modules, bus couplers and distributed I/O modules to realize flexible system configuration. Front-mounted LED status indicators directly display power supply state, K-bus communication quality and axis fault alarms, allowing maintenance personnel to quickly locate abnormal points without additional testing equipment. Internal circuits use industrial-grade electronic components and follow strict EMC design standards, which can effectively resist electromagnetic interference from inverters, hydraulic proportional valves and contactors, preventing motion jitter and positioning deviation during continuous production.
CU313/C can cooperate with supporting servo drives and motors to expand the multi-axis motion capacity of existing control systems. It is a commonly ordered original spare part for equipment overhaul and faulty component replacement. Brand new original products normally require relatively long delivery cycles. Regular inspection of module contacts and backplane wiring helps reduce hidden communication failures, maintain consistent positioning accuracy and cut down unplanned shutdown losses for automated plastic processing production lines.
