KEBA K2‑400 is a rack‑mounted modular control hardware from KEBA Kemro K2‑400 automation platform, mainly applied to heavy‑duty industrial machines including die‑casting machines, large injection‑molding equipment and metal forming machinery. Different from E‑series small‑scale DIN‑rail modules, K2‑400 adopts slot‑type rack installation architecture. Multiple functional boards including CPU, digital input/output, analog modules and special function boards can be inserted into the backplane rack, forming a complete machine‑level control system. This rack‑based design supports flexible hardware combination, users can add or replace corresponding function boards according to I/O quantity, axis count and process requirements of target equipment.
As an important part of K2‑400 system, this hardware undertakes multi‑dimensional tasks including logic signal processing, analog measuring signal acquisition, hydraulic and pneumatic actuator output driving, as well as internal backplane data exchange among different slot boards.
