GE M-Series is the classic alumina sensing probe family of GE Panametrics, applied for trace moisture & dew point detection in industrial gas and non-aqueous liquid media. Compatible with full-series GE moisture analyzers, it features stable calibration, fast response and high-pressure resistance for long-term online process monitoring.

Description

GE M-Series moisture probes adopt the patented thin-film aluminum oxide capacitive sensing principle. The sensor structure consists of a porous alumina substrate covered with a thin gold conductive film, forming a capacitance unit. Water molecules permeate the gold layer and are adsorbed inside alumina pores; the capacitance impedance changes linearly with water vapor partial pressure, and matched analyzers convert impedance signals into dew point temperature, ppm moisture and absolute humidity values. The core Ni2 nickel-based sensing chip effectively reduces measurement hysteresis and long-term drift, keeping calibration validity for a long period.
