1. General Introduction

This model 773-558 is a professional milliamp process clamp meter, specially used for 4-20mA industrial signal loop detection, calibration and maintenance. It can measure loop current without cutting off the circuit, support voltage measurement, signal output and loop power supply functions, widely applied in industrial automation, instrument debugging and field maintenance work.

2. Safety Warnings

  1. Do not operate the instrument in flammable and explosive gas environment.

  2. Strictly follow safety electric operation specifications, prohibit measuring voltage beyond rated range.

  3. Keep the meter dry, avoid heavy drop and strong vibration.

  4. Do not disassemble the instrument privately to avoid damage and safety risks.

  5. Replace batteries in time when low power prompt appears.

4. Operation Instructions

4.1 Current Measurement

Open the clamp jaw, clamp single wire of 4-20mA signal line directly, the screen can directly read real-time current value, no need to disconnect the loop circuit.

4.2 Voltage Measurement

Insert test leads into corresponding jacks, connect positive and negative poles of measured circuit, select voltage gear to read DC voltage data.

4.3 Signal Source Output

Set required current value through keys, output standard 4-20mA analog signal to test secondary instrument, controller and other equipment.

4.4 Loop Power Supply

Turn on built-in 24V power output, supply power for two-wire system field transmitter, complete on-site debugging.

6. Daily Maintenance

  4. Store in dry and cool place, avoid high temperature and damp environment.
