Function: DIN‑rail gateway connecting EtherNet/IP (Allen‑Bradley) to Modicon S908 (S908 RIO) remote I/O networks
Purpose: Lets ControlLogix/CompactLogix PLCs monitor/control legacy Modicon S908 systems without replacing field I/O

5. Installation & Wiring
Mount on DIN rail.
Connect 12–24 VDC.
Connect Ethernet to ControlLogix network.
Wire S908 bus to terminal block (shielded cable).
Set IP via web (default: 192.168.1.100).
Scan S908 drops and map I/O to EtherNet/IP tags.
Save config and reboot.

Master (MAS): full S908 scanner, control I/O
Monitor (MON): listen‑only, diagnose S908 traffic
