CJ1W-DRM21 Product Description
Omron CJ1W-DRM21, also named CJ series DeviceNet communication unit, is a CPU bus communication module for CJ1 series PLC system. It is designed to realize data interaction between CJ PLC and DeviceNet fieldbus slave devices, supporting remote I/O and equipment networking for old automation equipment renovation.

This module delivers reliable bus communication for industrial control tasks. The bus communication can work as DeviceNet master and slave simultaneously. The bus communication supports up to 32000 I/O points control under master mode. Stable bus communication completes real-time data exchange between controller and remote field devices.

The built-in communication circuit achieves steady data exchange. The data exchange processes remote I/O cyclic data and message communication. The data exchange supports parameter upload and download via memory card for convenient debugging. Accurate data exchange ensures synchronous control according to PLC program requirements.

Backplane plug-in structure brings convenient system assembly. System assembly can be inserted directly into CJ series PLC rack. System assembly connects DeviceNet bus via dedicated terminal block. Flexible system assembly is widely used for legacy CJ1 system spare replacement.

CJ1W-DRM21 supports communication error log, network voltage monitoring and fault diagnosis function, equipped with DeviceNet bus wiring terminal and DIP switch for station address setting.
