7. Installation & Configuration

1. Insert 2551 into an empty Trident baseplate slot.

2. Connect field transmitters/sensors to the AI terminal base.

3. Use TriStation 1131 to:

   • Set input type (4–20 mA / 0–10 VDC)

   • Configure range, scaling, and filtering

   • Enable diagnostics (open/short, out‑of‑range)

4. Verify: PWR + RUN green, no FAULT red.
