II. Instructions for Use (Installation / Configuration / Maintenance)

1) Installation and Mounting

Box Compatibility: Tricon main chassis (Main Chassis), expansion chassis (Expansion Chassis), RXM remote chassis are all applicable

Slot Installation:

Insert the 7400206-100 base into the vacant I/O slot of the chassis

Tighten the fixing screws (anti-vibration)

Module Installation:

Align the mechanical keys of the base and insert the I/O module (such as 4351A)

Push in all the way and lock it in place

Hot Swap Support: Online replacement is possible without downtime

Grounding: The base is reliably connected to the cabinet ground (critical for anti-interference)

2) TriStation Configuration (v9/v10/v11)

Automatic Identification: After the base and module are powered on, TriStation automatically identifies the module model (such as 4351A)

Bus Configuration: No additional configuration of the base is required; the system automatically assigns I/O bus addresses

Redundancy Settings: The triple redundancy buses are enabled by default and do not require manual configuration
