Overview

The SQUARE D HDL26150 is a PowerPact H-frame molded case circuit breaker with thermal-magnetic trip unit, 2-pole, 150A continuous rating, 600VAC. It adopts lug connection and unit mount design, widely stocked as spare for industrial power distribution panels.

Features This HDL model provides dual protection: thermal trip for overload and magnetic trip for short-circuit fault. The HDL26150 has 18kA interrupt capacity at 480VAC, supports reverse feed, and can be fitted with auxiliary switch, shunt trip and undervoltage release accessories. It carries UL 489 listing and 80% rated continuous current.

Principle

The thermal element responds to sustained overload and trips slowly. The magnetic element instantly triggers the breaker under short-circuit current. The toggle mechanism isolates the downstream circuit and shows trip status visually.

Applications

The HDL26150 is widely deployed in industrial substations, refineries, water treatment plants and factory main distribution boards. It is used for branch circuit overload and short-circuit protection for motors and general loads.
