Overview

The CIRCONTROL MR4/DP (MR4-DP) is a 4-channel loop detector control unit for Circontrol parking guidance systems. It connects four inductive vehicle loops and provides four relay outputs for occupancy status, widely stocked as spare for car park guidance and counting systems.

Features This MR4-DP unit detects vehicle presence by inductive loop frequency shift. The MR4/DP supports independent sensitivity adjustment for each channel, built-in fault detection for loop break or short circuit. It stores occupancy status in non-volatile memory and delivers dry contact relay signals to parking controllers. It is a dedicated component for Circontrol CirPark guidance systems.

Principle

The CIRCONTROL MR4/DP continuously monitors the resonant frequency of each underground induction loop. When a vehicle enters the loop area, the frequency changes and the unit triggers the corresponding relay to indicate occupied status. The module reports loop wiring faults and occupancy data to the parking management controller.

Applications

The MR4/DP is widely deployed in indoor and outdoor public parking garages, commercial building parking lots. It is used for single-space vehicle detection, parking guidance and vehicle counting for Circontrol CirPark systems.
