Overview

The ABB 07KR51-P30 (1SBP260010R1001) is the main CPU unit of the ABB AC31 Advant Controller 31 series. It comes with built-in 8 digital inputs and 6 relay outputs, powered by 24VDC, equipped with CS31 system bus and RS232 serial port for programming and Modbus communication. It supports extension I/O modules and up to 31 remote stations on CS31 bus. It is widely stocked as spare for legacy factory automation, water treatment and machinery control systems.

Features

This compact CPU supports standalone operation or master mode on CS31 distributed bus. The 07KR51-P30 has relay type digital outputs, non-volatile program memory, battery-backed RTC and status LEDs for diagnosis. It can connect to HMI, SCADA and other serial devices via RS232. Principle

The ABB 07KR51-P30 executes the control program cyclically, scans local onboard I/O and exchanges data with remote I/O stations over CS31 bus. RS232 handles program download and Modbus data exchange with upper systems. The controller continuously monitors bus status, power supply and program execution, and indicates faults via front status LEDs.
