SIEMENS 6AT8000-1EA00-1XA0
Description
SIEMENS 6AT8000-1EA00-1XA0
Overview
SIEMENS 6AT8000-1EA00-1XA0 is a multi-port IEEE 1394B (FireWire) repeater from the Siemens SIPLUS CMS condition monitoring system family, designated RPN T002. It extends and regenerates high-speed 1394B real-time communication links for vibration monitoring sensors and CMS controllers, widely supplied as exchange spare for turbine, motor and rotating machinery condition monitoring cabinet overhaul and replacement.
Features
SIEMENS 6AT8000-1EA00-1XA0 provides two optical ports and one electrical IEEE 1394B port. The optical channels isolate the electrical bus and extend transmission distance, while the electrical interface connects directly to local CMS nodes. It regenerates the 1394B signal waveform to compensate attenuation and signal distortion in long cable runs. The repeater supports daisy-chain topology for building distributed condition monitoring networks.
SIEMENS 6AT8000-1EA00-1XA0 runs on 24 VDC auxiliary supply. Onboard diagnostic indicators show power status and link health for fast on-site troubleshooting. It works with SIPLUS CMS acquisition modules to transport high-bandwidth vibration waveform data, bearing frequency signatures and dynamic process signals. The unit is built for industrial EMC and vibration resistance to suit power plant and heavy machinery environments.
Specs
SIEMENS 6AT8000-1EA00-1XA0Platform: Siemens SIPLUS CMS Type: IEEE 1394B multi-port repeater, RPN T002 Catalog number: 6AT8000-1EA00-1XA0 Interface: 2 × optical IEEE 1394B, 1 × electrical IEEE 1394B Supply voltage: 24 VDC Protocol: IEEE 1394B FireWire Function: signal regeneration, galvanic isolation via fiber, bus extension Net weight: 0.5 kg Mounting: cabinet installation Protection rating: IP20 This is not a vibration sensor, CMS controller or gateway; it is the dedicated fiber/electrical repeater for SIPLUS CMS 1394B monitoring bus. SIEMENS 6AT8000-1EA00-1XA0 is widely supplied as service replacement spare for condition monitoring high-speed bus extension failure.
Principle
SIEMENS 6AT8000-1EA00-1XA0 receives the incoming 1394B data stream on either optical or electrical port. The internal circuit recovers the clock and data, reshapes the signal and forwards it to the other ports. Optical transmission eliminates ground loop noise between monitoring zones. It maintains the real-time bandwidth required for streaming raw vibration waveforms to the CMS host for FFT analysis and bearing fault detection.
Applications
SIEMENS 6AT8000-1EA00-1XA0 is deployed for steam turbines, large fans, pumps, compressors and generator bearing vibration monitoring in power stations, oil & gas and pulp & paper plants. It is selected for spare inventory and CMS cabinet retrofit projects for existing Siemens SIPLUS condition monitoring systems.
