Principle

SIEMENS 6SE7016-0TP50-Z draws DC power from the common rectifier bus and converts it into variable-frequency PWM three-phase output to drive the motor. The drive reads encoder feedback signals to close the speed and position loop for precise motion control. The BICO structure inside SIEMENS 6SE7016-0TP50-Z allows engineers to assign PLC commands, external analog signals and interlock bits to control word and setpoint sources without modifying hardware wiring. SIMOLINK option supports high-speed cross-drive synchronization for electronic cam and master-slave axis applications.
