Siemens 3VA2710 series 1000A 415V 55kA

The 3VA2710 is a high frame molded case circuit breaker from Siemens SENTRON 3VA2 series, frame size 1600, rated current 1000A, rated operational voltage 415V, short-circuit breaking capacity Icu=55kA at 415V. This 3VA2710 supports 3-pole or 4-pole fixed mounting version, equipped with ETU electronic trip unit with adjustable LSI protection functions, covering overload, short-time delay and instantaneous short-circuit protection for transformers, main feeders and bus tie circuits. The 3VA2710 follows IEC 60947-2 standard for low voltage distribution protection.

This 3VA2710 can be fitted with optional communication modules for remote energy metering, fault recording and status upload to SCADA and energy management systems. The 3VA2710 adopts spring charging operating mechanism, supporting local manual operation and remote electrical closing and tripping. The built-in diagnostic function records trip codes to speed up troubleshooting after electrical faults. The 55kA breaking grade is suitable for distribution panels with high short-circuit level.

The 3VA2710 is widely used in industrial substations, commercial buildings and small power plant low voltage switchboards. The SENTRON 3VA is the successor product line of the old 3WL series.
