Description
KATO ENGINEERING KCR-760 VOLTAGE REGULATOR 821-76111-48
KATO ENGINEERING KCR-760 (Part No.821-76111-48) is a solid-state automatic voltage regulator (AVR) for brushless synchronous alternators, widely used in marine gensets and land-based power generation systems. This automatic voltage regulator continuously samples generator output voltage and adjusts exciter field current to maintain stable terminal voltage under variable load conditions. The automatic voltage regulator integrates V/Hz protection and under-frequency limiting function to protect generator stator and rotor against abnormal operating conditions. The automatic voltage regulator supports reactive power droop sharing when multiple generators run in parallel. The automatic voltage regulator serves as critical excitation spare part for generator control cabinet maintenance and genset voltage regulation retrofit.
This KCR-760 unit is equipped with SCR control circuit, no moving contacts, featuring high shock and vibration resistance. KCR-760 accepts single-phase or three-phase voltage sensing with wide input sensing range and adjustable excitation DC output. KCR-760 provides external adjustment terminals for voltage trim and remote voltage control. KCR-760 meets marine and industrial EMC requirements, commonly fitted on marine main generators, emergency alternators and stationary power plant generators.
As heavy-duty excitation control hardware, this KATO ENGINEERING regulator delivers precise voltage regulation during sudden load changes and transient disturbance. KATO ENGINEERING KCR series spare parts include AVR modules, power rectifiers and wiring terminals for generator excitation system overhaul. KATO ENGINEERING automatic voltage regulators are trusted replacement units for legacy synchronous generator excitation control systems.
