HP MP 8200 Compaq 8200 Elite Small Form Factor PC Kongsberg
HP MP8200 is a marinized operator station based on HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF commercial desktop hardware for K-Chief marine automation system, deployed in bridge and engine control room consoles. This marine small form factor operator PC runs Kongsberg K-Chief supervision software, responsible for real-time vessel machinery data visualization, alarm list display, trend recording and manual equipment operation. The marine small form factor operator PC communicates via Ethernet and serial ports to connect RCU controllers and remote I/O modules, supports multi-screen output and onboard historical log storage for vessel monitoring. The marine small form factor operator PC is modified with marine power conversion and ruggedized settings to adapt shipboard environment, serves as core HMI spare hardware for K-Chief console overhaul and marine monitoring system retrofit.
