1786-RPA is Allen‑Bradley ControlNet copper repeater adapter, designed to cooperate with 1786-RPFM fiber optic repeater module. It converts ControlNet BNC copper media signal for fiber transmission, amplifies and regenerates network signal, isolates different copper bus segments, solves long-distance transmission and ground loop interference issues. It supports ControlNet 5Mbps communication speed, widely applied in large production lines, chemical and metallurgy ControlNet distributed I/O systems. It is an end-of-life spare part for legacy Rockwell ControlNet fieldbus platforms.

This DIN rail mounted module adopts IP20 protection class for cabinet installation, powered by 24VDC. It has two BNC ControlNet copper ports and one dedicated interface connecting to 1786-RPFM fiber module. Front panel LED indicators display network link status, signal activity and fault alarm for quick on-site troubleshooting.
