1770-KFD is Allen‑Bradley (Rockwell Automation) standalone DeviceNet communication interface adapter. It converts RS232 serial signal to DeviceNet fieldbus, allowing PC with legacy RS232 port to directly access DeviceNet network nodes, used for drive, remote I/O and sensor configuration, online monitoring, fault reading via RSLinx software. It supports DeviceNet baud rate 125k/250k/500kbps, RS232 baud rate from 1200 to 57600bps. Widely used in packaging, material handling and assembly legacy automation lines. It is an end-of-life spare part for Rockwell DeviceNet commissioning systems, replacement model is 1784-U2DN.

This compact desktop adapter has IP20 protection grade for cabinet installation. It adopts dual power supply mode, can be powered by DeviceNet bus 11~25VDC or external 9VDC power supply.
